This Helix Mortise Cutter from Whiteside is used to create hinge mortises. Can be used in either hand held or machine routers. Has a downshear cutting design to make clean, splinter free cuts. Cutter has a 5/16"-24 internal thread size. Requires the use of a 1/2" shank Helix Mortise Arbor. 2-wing Carbide Tipped cutter. Made by Whiteside Machine Company.
