This spiral router bit has down cutting action for reduced chipping and splintering. Good for applications where chip clearance is not a problem. Especially useful in cutting deep through slots, or for shallow finish work such as inlays, laminates, or veneers. The spiral shape provides a shearing action for extra smooth cuts - regardless of grain direction. In addition this bit is machined with a chip breaker. Made by Whiteside Machine Company.
